# Upscaling API

> Upscale images up to 32 MP and video to 1080p, 4K or up to 3x with P-Image Upscale, Clarity, Topaz Labs and FLUX 3 Video Upscale, through the BudgetPixel API.

**Image or video → higher resolution.** Enlarge images up to 32 MP, and video to 1080p or
4K, or by 1.5x to 3x.

## Image upscaling

2 models. Each name opens its API reference with every parameter.

1. Send `POST /v1/upscales/{model}` with the `image`. The response returns a job `id`
   right away.
2. Poll [`GET /v1/upscales/{id}`](/api-reference/upscaling/get-upscale-job-status) until
   `status` is `succeeded`. The response then holds the upscaled image's URL.

## Video upscaling

2 models. Each name opens its API reference with every parameter.

1. Send `POST /v1/video-upscales/{model}` with the `video`, up to 20 seconds long. The
   response returns a job `id` right away.
2. Poll [`GET /v1/video-upscales/{id}`](/api-reference/upscaling/get-video-upscale-job-status)
   until `status` is `succeeded`. The response then holds the upscaled video's URL.

## Pricing

Image upscales are priced per image, by target size for P-Image Upscale. Video upscales
are priced per second. [`GET /v1/models`](/api-reference/models/list-available-models)
returns current prices, and [`POST /v1/cost`](/api-reference/models/estimate-the-cost-of-a-request)
quotes a request before you send it. You pay only for jobs that succeed; see
